Paul Lecompte

Paul  Lecompte.

(1842-1920) 

French 19th -20th century.  Painter and watercolourist of landscapes.  Paul Lecompte was a pupil of Emile Lambinet.  He first showed at The Salon de paris in 1880; he won an honourable mentioni 1882, a third clss medal in 1888 and a second clas medal in 1895.  He also received an honourabel mention in 1889 Exposition Universelle and a silver medal at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris.
