Paul Vernon

(Active 1860 - 1890)

Paul Vernon was born at Paris in the 19th Century.

From 1874 to 1882, Vernon exhibited oil paintings and gouaches at the Paris Salon. Vernon was noted for his Venetian scenes and plein-air landscapes of the French countryside. It has been noted that Vernon's work was also inspired by that of the great French landscape painter, Theodore Rousseau.
